Gladiators beat Sylhet Royals by 31 runs

Sylhet Royals lastly run out of vapor as they lost their 1st   match after five wins, to Dhaka Gladiators by 31 runs. Royals had before won four matches chasing more than 140 runs with ease, but down contentedly under the target this time.

Three of the Sylhet  Royals batsmen were run out, starts with Dwayne Smith, who slip in the middle of the pitch in the 2nd  over. Mohammad Nabi and Nazmul Hossain Milon also wrecked up short of the crease, reducing Royals to 47 for 5 in the 9th  over. Captain  Mushfiqur Rahim made 41 from 37 deliveries, but couldn't able take the side past the three figure mark. The Roylals could only manage  to 127 for 8 in 20 overs.

Gladiators had set together a spirited total, They had some luck at first when Sohag Gazi dropped a simple chance at mid-on to let off Josh Cobb.  Shakib Al Hasan and Cobb also dismissed in the after that four overs, before two fifty plus partnerships build  the Gladiators Innings.

Stevens smashed two sixes in his unbeaten 35 ball 55 knock, put  53 runs  for the 4th  wicket with Owais Shah and another 52 runs  for the fifth wicket with the belligerent Anamul Haque, who cracked three sixes and a boundary in his quickfire   32 off 18. Darren Stevens named for the Man of the Award.
