Chittagong Kings gain their 4th sucessive win in a row as they overcome Sylhet Royals by a massive 119 runs. Their opening batsmen and new ball bowlers guide the win, their fifth overall, in the most leading fashion this season.
After thrashing Dhaka by 88 runs the before day, they bettered the highest winning margin in the tournament with this big win.
Naeem Islam and Brendan Taylor starts the match with a fiery 118 runs opening partnership with the Bangladesh batsman taking over his Zimbabwean team mate when it was time to attack. Naeem smashed six fours and two sixes in his 58 off 43 and Taylor matched his score.
After both were removed within ten balls of each other, Ryan ten Doeschate and Mahmudullah speedily put on 56 runs for the fourth wicket. Ten Doeschate, the Netherlands allrounder, made 37 from 18 deliveries with three sixes while Mahmudullah was unbeaten on a 24 with a two sixes.
Only Mohammad Nabi made any in roads into Kings take three cheap wickets with his offspin, while the rest of the attack floundered badly.
But Sylhet Royals were always in front of an mounting task as they chased 194 runs to win. They were without skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, the duo whose fifties helped them chase a big total against Rangpur Riders the earlier day.
Shaun Tait dismissed the openers and big hitter Nazmul Hossain Milon with his pace, before Rubel Hossain worked out the middle order. After both pace bowlers take three wickets each, Arafat Sunny dismissed Mohammad Nabi was Royals' only substantial provider with 35 runs. Enamul Haque finished the disorder with three wickets.
