Chittagong Kings 193 for 3
Roy 92*, ten Doeschate 65
Duronto Rajshahi 160 for 6
Katich 53, Rubel 2 for 23
Chittagong Kings registered their place in the final four after a 33 runs victory over Duronto Rajshahi. Jason Roy and Ryan ten Doeschate set up the win with a massive partnership that put Rajshahi's chance in other teams' results.
The Kings' 3rd wicket pair put on 117 runs, with Roy making 92 from 55 balls with eight fours and four sixes, while ten Doeschate scored 65 off 39 balls included with four fours and three sixes. Brendan Taylor had before gave them a solid base to build on, smashed two fours and two sixes in a 30 off 21.
Rajshahi started their chase favorably as Charles Coventry carved and blazed at Shaun Tait. He hitted three fours and two sixes but Tait had the last laugh when he removed the Zimbabwean opener for 24 off 15 deliveries.
Dilshan Munaweera and Simon Katich then put on 66 runs for the 2nd wicket, setting up an exciting finish. However, after Munaweera dismissed on 35 runs in the 11th over, Rajshahi required their big-hitters to fire. Katich scored 53 from 39 balls. Tait's fire apart, the final spell of Rubel Hossain, in which he gave away few runs and picked up two critical wickets made a bunch of difference to the team's fortunes as well as his confidence
