Rangpur Riders back in to contention, riding on Shamsur Rahman's sixth half century in this season of the BPL.  Rangpur Riders  beat a weaken Duronto Rajshahi by 19 runs, and replace them in fourth place on net run rate.

They  barely had a go at the 180 runs  target, down their top half in the sixth over before Mukhtar Ali and Ziaur Rahman hitted some big ones to keep some attention towards the end. They put on  71 runs for the sixth wicket, but both dismissed  in the 14th over to Abdur Razzak.

Kevin O'Brien take  three wickets while Razzak and Dutta gor  two. Shamsur's 51 guide  him take over as the highest runs scorer  with 418 runs. He persistent to give the Riders a quick start at the top, smashed  seven fours  in his 36 ball innings.

He added a quick  88 runs  partnership  for the first wicket with Junaid Siddique before dismissed  in the 13th over to a catch at long-on off Mukhtar.  Mukhtar chipped in with three wickets, perhaps inspired by being made the skipper for the match.
