Jahurul Islam's fighting 57 sets up Duronto Rajshahi's chase before Mukhtar Ali and Ziaur Rahman finished the four wicket win over Barisal Burners. The win has place Duronto 4th on the table.
Jahurul's 38 ball 57 runs inculded with three boundaries and as many sixes but more importantly, it guide save the chase after the openers had dismissed early. Jahurul Islam added 44 runs for the third wicket with Dilshan Munaweera, continued it up with a 53 runs partnership with Sean Ervine made 28 from 20 deliveries, and then added 28 runs for the sixth wicket with Ziaur Rahman.
Burners at one stage in control when 44 were require off the final five overs, but with Jahurul still in the crease. Burners looked lost the moment Brad Hodge was dismissed in the third over but Joe Denly and Mahmood put 46 runs for the 2nd wicket. Mahmood held his end, while wickets fell regularly at the other. He ended up with 57 from 34 deliveries. Jahurul Islam named for the man of the Match award for his match winning knock.
